Ambush At Cimarron Pass (1958)
It's 1867 and a patrol of Union Army soldiers join a band of ex-Confederate soldiers in order to cross dangerous territory. One in the group is carrying a cache of weapons and the assault on the group never lets up. Clint Eastwood made a name for himself in Italian westerns like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More in the 60s. But he made his western debut in this cheapie six-gun shoot-em-up for Regal Films. Here he's Keith Williams, a wet behind the ears hothead who constantly buts heads with his superiors- the kind of character Clint has spent decades on screen chewing up and spitting out. Clint considers it the cheapest western ever made, but it was his first sagebrush feature. In Glorious Black & White. 73 minutes. The Auditorium will open at 6:00 and the movie will begin at 6:30. Food and drink are permitted in the Auditorium during the film.
Gimmick- Birthday Party for Clint, who will turn 93 on May 31, 2023!
