1. New to Genealogy - Beginner's First Steps

From January through May, the Madison Public Library is offering a Genealogy Series. Learn the basic steps to start your family history journey. We'll cover the importance of talking to your relatives and share how to start building a family tree. Learn about popular online tools such as Ancestry which is available for use in HMCPL Library branches.  Participants are invited to bring a laptop computer to the program. Please bring a notepad and pen to the program.

January 26 at 10 a.m.  is the first class in the series, Beginner's First Step.
