Rockin' in the Rockies (1945)
The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard) star in this musical western romp. The boys bumble into a get rich quick scheme that comes with more than a few complications. Features the music of The Hoosier Hotshots and Gladys Blake. Many Three Stooges fans are split on this one. It's not the typical Stooges fare, but it is the only Three Stooges film to feature Curly Howard. Rockin' in the Rockies was made in 1945, before the MPA's rating system. It has adult humor and gratuitous Three Stooges mayhem. Because of the film's short run time, we will watch a Three Stooges short before the feature. The auditorium opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 6:30. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the movie. 63 Minutes + short.
