Join Jim Chamberlain and Bill Heslip, of Madison Greenways and Trails, for a tour of three of Madison's wonderful natural areas.

  • Established mountain hiking area in the east of town.
  • New preserve taking shape in the center of town with streams and springs. This area is ideally located for a new greenway to connect east and west.
  • Area with great potential for walking and biking trails in the south of town.

Jim will describe Madison Greenways and Trails' vision for these critically needed public preserves and review the city's plans in the city master plan. Bill will give us a bird's eye view of these beautiful areas with his amazing documentary and drone footage.

Bill Heslip is a nature Film Producer exploring scenic and natural wonders in and around the Huntsville area.  He created with his wife, Becky, the Urban Nature Preserves episode of the Alabama Public Television's Discovering Alabama nature series.

Jim Chamberlain is the President of Madison Greenways and Trails and a Conservationist. He was recently recognized as Madison's "Community Volunteer of the Year".

This program is sponsored by Madison Greenways and Trails.
