Are your pants a touch too long? Join us at the Downtown Huntsville Makerspace, and we'll teach you how to hem your clothing!

This is a beginner level class, and participants are expected to have taken our Sewing 101 workshop or know how to independently operate a sewing machine and sew a straight stitch. If this class would be your first time using a sewing machine, please sign up for the Sewing Machine Basics class or make an appointment at the Makerspace first.

Please bring an article of clothing you would like hemmed for this class. All other materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours, if you want to use one of our machines please let us know in advance.

If you are looking to learn the basics of sewing, we have a separate sewing machine basics class which provides more guided instruction. If you would prefer one-on-one instruction, you can make an appointment here.

Space is limited and registration is required.
