Rocket City Celebrates America 250 Concert
Thursday, July 2, 2026 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
The 151st Alabama Army National Guard Band will play a free concert of patriotic music. The event is being hosted by Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, Hunt's Spring Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium, and Alabama Society DAR. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., allowing time to visit the library book mobile, local history displays, sponsor tables, community organization informational booths, and concessions. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m., music at 6:30 p.m., with a runtime of 80-90 minutes. Bring a blanket for on-the-field seating. Stadium and accessible seating will also be available.
