Swords in modern day occupy both a sporting and historical niche which Rocket City HEMA explores.
Rocket City Historical European Martial Arts is studying sword fighting as original historical fencers. Also exploring the modernizing the form and our understanding of training methodology and equipment. We shall be going over how fencing has been practiced and is still practiced through the window of HEMA, Historical European Martial Arts.

Swordsmanship from then to now.
Swords have been carried and used in both practical and purely academic settings for as long as we've had them. Various period, cultural, and societal factors influencing the types of swords worn, why, and how they were used.
