FABclub meets once a month to discuss books by female authors. We read a variety of genres. Everyone is welcome to join!

This month we are discussing The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson. The book won many prizes and is considered by many to be one of the best non-fiction books of all time.

In this beautifully written masterwork, Pulitzer Prize–winning author Isabel Wilkerson presents a definitive and dramatic account of one of the great untold stories of American history: the Great Migration of six million Black citizens who fled the South for the North and West in search of a better life, from World War I to 1970.

FABclub meets on the fourth Friday of the month at 11:30am in Meeting Room A at the Downtown Huntsville Public Library.
