March's film will be from the 80s: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a 1986 American teen comedy film directed by John Hughes. The film stars Matthew Broderick as Ferris Bueller, a clever and charismatic high school senior who fakes an illness to skip school and enjoy one perfect day of freedom. Joined by his anxious best friend Cameron Frye and his girlfriend Sloane Peterson, Ferris embarks on a carefree adventure through downtown Chicago while evading his determined school principal and navigating the pressures of growing up. Celebrated for its humor, fourth-wall-breaking style, and themes of youth and self-discovery, the film captures the joy of living in the moment before adulthood sets in.
