A Writer's group for teens age 12-17* that meets on the 2nd  & 4th Thursday of the month. Ask at the front desk for the conference room. This summer we are having a series focused on World Building.

This Week's Theme: Mapmaking

This session we will creating maps to build our fantasy worlds within.

Each of the 4 sessions this summer are interconnected and designed to build a fantasy world, but teens do not need to attend all to participate.

In Writer's Group we focus on writing activities to build skills in our session topic. Topics can range from plot to pacing to character development; any aspect of writing can be covered. The next session's topic is typically chosen by teens as a group the session before. Feedback is crucial for writing, so we may share and do peer feedback, but teens may always choose to opt out of that portion.
