The MAD Summer Movie Spectacular

My childhood obsession with all things STAR WARS came to a close the summer of 1983 with RETURN OF THE JEDI, the final chapter in the original STAR WARS trilogy. More secrets are revealed as Luke Skywalker saves Han Solo from cosmic muck mobster Jabba the Hut, then they team up with a bunch of vicious teddy bears to overthrow the Empire. Everything about this third chapter is bigger, louder and more spectacular than everything that came before it. This one ups the action with an amazing Speeder bike chase through Endor. Celebrate JEDI's 40th Anniversary with us! Like our previous presentations of STAR WARS and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, the version closest to the original theatrical presentation will be shown. The MAD Summer Movie Spectacular runs every Thursday night in June and July at the Madison Public Library. The Auditorium opens at 6:00pm and the movie begins at 6:30 pm. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditoriums during the film. Treats will be provided by our Summer Movie sponsor Renasant Bank. We'll see you at the movies!
