Join us every Monday in February as we shine a spotlight on Oscar winning Black actresses.
This week we look at another EGOT winner- Viola Davis. Considered by many to be one of the finest actors of her generation, Viola Davis has been nominated for multiple Academy Awards. In 2017 she won Best Supporting Actress for Fences.
A working-class African-American father tries to raise his family in the 1950s, while coming to terms with the events of his life.
