Civil Rights Movement in North Alabama

 Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the civil rights movement in North Alabama.  Sonnie Hereford will present an overview including his family's participation in the movement including the integration of schools, restaurants, stores, and public facilities.   He'll present stories and pictures of Civil Rights icons Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , John Lewis and others. 

Come a little early for a meet and greet with the Madison History Association. 

Sonnie Hereford and his father were key figures in the Civil Rights movement in Huntsville.
